I'm Lynsie, and welcome to Intent to Include!

Intent to Include is an idea that's been on my heart for a while, but only recently have I taken action to bring it to life.  As a career special educator of 16+ years, I have seen first-hand the challenges of authentic disability-inclusion practices in public education. The church faces similar challenges but with fewer resources. 

​

By God's design, I am a creative who enjoys helping people, & speaking up for others. Intent to Include allows me to combine those gifts and provide meaningful content to help your church or ministry be more disability-inclusive.​

​

Here are a few important things you need to know about me:

• I unashamedly believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that the Bible is the true and holy word of God and that as Believers, we're called to use our gifts & talents to advance the Kingdom. 1 Peter 4:10

​

• The business plan of Intent to Include involves prayer, Jesus, & obedience.

​

• I come from a place of experience. I have successfully taught in just about every special education setting: resource, inclusion, self-contained, structured behavior, early childhood, etc.

​

• I earned BS in Special Education from SFASU in 2007 & an M.Ed in Autism Intervention from UNT in 2018. My entire education and career have been in the field of disability.
